Ratings:
This is the estate wine at Saint Andrieu, a property owned by the Bignon-Cordier family that owns Château Talbot in Bordeaux. Ripe and attractively fruity, this wine has a rounded, rich character. It is well balanced, with a fresh streak that runs through it. Drink from late 2020. ROGER VOSS
Tasting Notes:
The typical Provençal grape varieties of Grenache, Cinsault, Syrah and Rolle give this rosé a pretty pale pink colour and a delicate nose of citrus fruits. The round and gourmet palate reveals a palate of passion fruit and citrus fruits. Ample and refined finish.
About Côtes de Provence – Domaine Saint Andrieu
Made with traditional Provencal varietals, the whites and rosés are distinguished by a very pure fruit, a fullness and vivacity without being heavy, bringing a refreshing coolness. The reds, grounded with Syrah, Cabernet and Mourvedre varietals have a lot of personality. They express themselves in a very “Rhodanian style” with notes of spices, violets and complex dark berries.
