This is a rare full-bodied wine with finesse. The coupling comes about courtesy of the way the oak is integrated and the tannins honed, though not by any apology from the blackberry and black cherry fruit. 

 

Tasting Notes:

Colour- Bright purple with a vivid purple hue

Bouquet- Intense notes of blueberry and strawberry, with darker complexing hints of black cherry, plum and lifted dandelion florals.

Palate- Subtle notes of black cherry provide layered depth and complexity. A red fruit thread creates an intensely bright core. Soft framing powdery tannins, restrained nutty oak and hints of ginger add elegant savoury notes and the promise of silky elegance as this wine ages.
