Chardonnay comes in gold lamé. A well marked colour, with green reflections. Its aromas of hawthorn, acacia and honeysuckle blend with verbena and hazelnut. The flint recalls the deep minerality of a wine that is sometimes toasted, spontaneously fresh butter. The age bears the Chassagne-Montrachet appellation towards honeyed or ripe pear notes. All curved and often opulent, its attack is nicely removed. On the palate, the fat matches its softness in a persistent.
