Tasing Notes:
A one-of-a-kind sweet dessert wine, with flavors of honey and tropical fruit. A perfect balance of sweetness and acidity that’s exactly what you want after dinner.
Named for the well-known Scweicher Annaberg vineyards in which the grapes are grown, this sweet German dessert wine is something utterly unique and, if you’ve got a sweet tooth, absolutely delicious – the perfect end to a great meal. “Beerenauslese” can be translated as “special berry harvest” because the grapes are affected by what is known as “Noble Rot”. But don’t worry - this harmless fungus, which infects ripe grapes and causes a partial transformation to a raisin, leads to rich, sweet dessert wines.
