Tasting Notes

"A subtle, delicate and fruity red wine with jammy notes and hints of violet, blackberry, raspberry and vanilla.”

Pavillon de Taillefer is an exceptional red wine that serves as the main cuvee of prestigious French wine producers and traders Cellier des Producteurs. It is classified as a Grand Cru, a regional wine classification that means its grapes are grown in highly respected vineyards. All the work on the vineyards that goes into making the wine is done manually, and the production process is 100% organic, with a selective care taken that results in very low yields. The wine is then aged for 12 months in oak barrels and, though it can be enjoyed young, has the potential to age and improve for 10 to 15 years. It’s a rich, complex and most of all elegant red wine.
