Gweilo Hoppy Wheat is a wheat beer with a difference. Using a wheat forward base with a New England India Pale Ale yeast gives this beer a juicy mouthfeel and decadent haze. Tropical piney notes from a dry hop of Vic's Secret create a light and refreshing wheat beer with a fruitiness that makes you want more.
About Gweilo:
What is a Gweilo? If you don't know, you probably are one. While it might not have always been the friendliest phrase, Gweilo is now used as a term of endearment for Westerners in Hong Kong. Just like the team of three Gweilos, Emily and Ian Jebbitt and Jo Gould, who started brewing beer in Hong Kong in a spare bedroom in 2015 and now have a range of over 21 beers sold all over HK and expanding into Asia. Gweilo starts with a core range of beers true to their British heritage and adds an exciting range of limited editions collaborations representing some uniquely Hong Kong style beer.
