"Aromas of white stone fruit, hawthorn and sea breeze lift out of the glass on this crisp, elegant white. The tangy, savory palate features ripe pear, yellow apple and Mediterranean herbs before notes of citrus and saline close the finish." KERIN O’KEEFE
A rich, flavorful and full bodied white wine, rich with fruit and acidify on the palate and aromas of honey, lemon and lilacs.
A Grillo white wine that has earned such accolades as a rating of 92 from legendary wine critic James Suckling, created by the Moretti family in Sicily. The island that sits right by the ‘tip of the boot’ at the south of Italy is a location that isn’t known for it’s white wine – in fact, it is most famous for exports like Nero d’Avola reds and sweet Marsala wines… but don’t let that fool you. With this bottle, the father and daughter team behind Feudo Maccari tried to make a white wine that did their beautiful island justice. They definitely succeeded.
