This is a lightweight, attractive Shiraz with heady aromas of red currants, cranberries, dried flowers and an herbal tonic note. On the palate, a spine of sandy tannins runs behind lush, juicy fruit. The oak is more noticeable here and is a little soapy on the finish, but overall, those who prefer their reds on the lighter, brighter side will find this a tasty, easy-drinking drop. Tasting Notes:

A medium bodied dry red. Bright cherry red appearance. Aromas are floral and loads of red berries and spice. Plenty of plum, blackberries and hints of dark chocolate oak on the palate, with a generous finish.

 

Winemaking:

Harvested when the fruit is showing fresh berry flavours, ripe tannins and structure, then fermented on skins for 7 days at 23-27ºC. A combination of American and French oak used at maturation.
